Kiwimbi Virtual Walk

On Saturday May 16th at 10:00am, Kiwimbi will be hosting a virtual walk, raising funds for its Food for Thought program while also remembering the generosity of people in our home state of New Jersey. We are splitting the proceeds of this event with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.

The pandemic has brought illness, financial insecurity and hunger to many people around the world. While students in Kenya are now bringing their little brothers and sisters to share their lunch, food banks in the USA are seeing unprecedented numbers seeking basic nourishment. Hunger knows no borders.

We decided to take action and hope you will help us provide meals across the globe!

Join us (virtually) as we accompany Moses and Ruth on their daily trek to Kiwimbi’s Community Center and Library in rural Kenya, the same trip kids make to and from school daily -and if Kiwimbi weren’t providing lunch, they’d go home for lunch as well!
