The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company partners with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey to help end child hunger in the state. In addition to donating food and funds, as well as volunteering at the FoodBank, Stop & Shop supported a recent campaign.
Stop & Shop sponsored WBGO’s 2-day Pledge Drive, which benefited our Family Pack Program. For every $60 pledge, Stop & Shop donated a Family Pack to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. Thanks to Stop & Shop’s support, the Pledge Drive was a success; it raised enough for 470 Family Packs, which have healthy food to supplement families over the weekend, when kids don’t have school breakfasts and lunches.
