4. CFBNJ and our partners and supporters have taken big steps to end hunger and poverty in the Garden State. Which of our programming is most important to you?
PROVIDING MEALS: We helped provide more than 90 million meals through our network of more than 800 community partners including food and mobile pantries and child and senior feeding programs.SUPPLIES AND SUPPORT: Families that have difficulty affording food may also lack access to diapers for babies or menstrual products. We work with our network of partners to provide essential supplies to help our neighbors be healthy and active.TRAINING FOR THE FUTURE: Aligned with our mission to break the cycle of hunger and poverty in New Jersey, our free culinary and warehouse logistics job-training programs provide graduates with marketable skills that change lives.ADVOCATING FOR NUTRITION PROGRAMS: We engage in advocacy at the local, state, and federal level to protect vital nutrition programs like the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), and so many more.
