North Jersey Women Fighting Hunger Luncheon
The Women Fighting Hunger Luncheon is dedicated to creating brighter futures for children, students, and families in need by lending our support, raising our voices, and taking meaningful action.
We’ll kick off the day at 11 AM with a volunteer hour, which will include a family meal kit packing activity. It’s a wonderful chance to get hands-on and make an immediate impact. Following that, we’ll enjoy lunch and an inspiring program, featuring Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, CEO of Feeding America.
The deadline to be listed at the Host Committee Member level and above on the printed invitation is Friday, August 29. Event RSVP deadline is Friday, October 17.

TAKE THE SNAP CHALLENGE!
What would you buy with only $6 to spend on food for the day? This is a daily reality for millions of people on SNAP.
We invite you to take the SNAP Challenge to gain a deeper, more personal understanding of food insecurity and the impact of the incoming SNAP changes. By participating, you will get a look at the tough choices and daily tradeoffs many of our neighbors face. We will share and reflect on our experiences with the SNAP Challenge at the Luncheon, where we will also learn more about SNAP and explore ways we can help.
