Our Commitment to Our Donors

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (“CFBNJ”) is committed to safeguarding your privacy and personal data.  As a nonprofit organization, CFBNJ operates with a single goal — to fight hunger and poverty in New Jersey by assisting those in need seeking long-term solutions. CFBNJ uses the donations it receives to fund programs in furtherance of that goal.

This Privacy Policy describes the kind of information we collect from you, how that information is used, and what kind of security measures we employ on our website. It applies to all information received by CFBNJ, both online and offline, as well as any electronic, written or oral communications.

Privacy Statement

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post a notice of those changes on the Privacy Policy section of our website so that you will always have notice of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the Privacy Policy in effect when the information was collected.

Our Policies

CFBNJ makes every effort to respect and protect the privacy of our online visitors and both online and offline donors and volunteers. We will not sell, share, rent or trade donor personal information, which includes your name, address, financial information, and email address, with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

Although unlikely, CFBNJ may be required to disclose personal information about our donors to the extent required by law. Disclosure may also occur if we consider it necessary to protect our legal rights or if the information relates to actual or threatened harmful conduct.
