We work with more than one thousand community partners (also known as “agencies”) to reach people in need across the state. They include food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters that help us get healthy food to hungry men, women and children in their communities.
CFBNJ has begun to offer virtual SNAP and SNAP-Ed trainings for our Agency Network. Please sign up here to learn more about how you can connect your clients to SNAP benefits and virtual nutrition education sessions.
As part of the government’s COVID-19 response efforts, financial help is available to most Americans – up to $1,200 for individuals, $2,400 for married couples, and more for families with children. But if your clients didn’t file federal taxes in 2018 or 2019, they need to sign up to receive their stimulus checks via the IRS website by October 15 to get payment this year.
If you are a partner organization serving individuals and families who may be eligible for stimulus checks, please see these partner resources to help spread the word in your networks, or you can use this flyer to promote the program to you clients, and check out these Frequently Asked Questions.
