Diaper &
Hygiene Programs
Families that struggle to afford food often lack access to hygiene supplies as well. Our programs promote best hygiene practices, helping individuals build healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
We provide diapers and period products to our network.
Diaper Program
Low-income families with young children often struggle with diaper needs, having to make tough choices between diapers and other necessities. As a member of the National Diaper Bank Network, we partner with more than 175 of our agencies to provide parents with diapers each month to keep their babies clean, dry, and healthy.
Last year, we provided seven million diapers to parents.
Period Initiative
Lack of access to period supplies due to financial limitations is known as period poverty and is widespread among the women and girls we serve. An allied program of the National Diaper Bank Network’s Alliance for Period Supplies, the Period Initiative provides free period products every month to people in need at over 150 of our partner agencies.
Last year, we provided 124,000 menstruating individuals with period products.
“This really helps me get through the month.”
