Tell NJ’s next governor: Stand up for neighbors facing hunger
In November, New Jersey will elect a new governor, who will immediately confront a crisis for New Jerseyans facing hunger.
Earlier this year, the federal government enacted the largest-ever cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP. These changes will most likely mean more families have to choose between putting food on the table and paying essential bills like utilities.
With nearly 850,000 New Jerseyans who rely on SNAP to help themselves and their families, it’s crucial to show New Jersey’s next governor how important it is to stand up for our neighbors facing hunger.
Now is the time for New Jerseyans to UNITE to end hunger by demanding that our next governor takes action on day one. Please, sign our petition today, urging these gubernatorial candidates to pledge to protect SNAP and stand with hundreds of thousands of NJ kids, seniors, families, and others facing hunger.
