Every year, the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and Seton Hall Preparatory School partner to host the Teen Hunger Summit, which teaches students in grades 9-12 about social justice issues related to hunger and empowers them to take action towards meaningful change in their communities.
The event will be held virtually in 2021 and features workshops with community leaders, breakout discussions, student service highlights, and more. Students learn about community organizations that fight hunger and poverty and gain insights on how to make a difference in their communities. Schools can register up to 40 students.
