Every year, the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and Seton Hall Preparatory School partner to host the Teen Hunger Summit, which teaches students about social justice issues related to hunger and empowers them to take action towards meaningful change in their communities.
The event features breakout workshops with community leaders, a group student teach-back, keynote speakers, and a fundraising service project. Students learn about community organizations that fight hunger and poverty and gain insight on how to make a difference in their communities. Schools can register up to 30 students.
