The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is fortunate to have the partnership of C&S Wholesale Grocers, the largest wholesale grocery supply company in the United States. C&S, which is headquartered in New Hampshire and has operations in Edison, N.J., donates food and funds to support the FoodBank’s mission of fighting hunger and poverty.
The company’s grant funding covers the Community FoodBank’s Family Pack Program for more than 100 households each week in New Brunswick. The Family Pack Program provides food insecure families, all of which include at least one school-age child, with supplemental groceries on the weekend, when school lunch and school breakfast are not available.
