Teen Leadership Programs

Community FoodBank of New Jersey offers several programs for high school students around the state who are interested in refining leadership and advocacy skills, learning how to manage social media and fundraising campaigns, and planning youth service events.

Sign up to learn more about our youth programs if you are interested in joining one of our teen leadership programs during the 2022-2023 school year.

Members will be expected to participate in monthly virtual meetings and support social media and fundraising campaigns.

Teen Leadership Council

About the Teen Leadership Council: Students meet monthly to refine leadership skills, network with students across New Jersey, and learn the fundamentals of event planning, social media marketing, fundraising, outreach, and volunteering. Members work together on a service-learning project that addresses hunger in New Jersey.

Teen Leadership Institute

About the Teen Leadership Institute: The CFBNJ Teen Leadership Institute is an informative and engaging two-day summer program for students aged 12-18. Participants refine leadership skills and make a difference in their community. The program consists of leadership training, outreach projects, and education about community needs.
