Every day, CFBNJ is on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, providing food, help, and hope to those in need during this unprecedented time. And today, we give thanks to YOU for making it all possible!
I don’t have the words to express my gratitude for the support that you and so many kind people have provided, so I’ll let the numbers speak for themselves. Please take a moment to consider what you’ve helped us accomplish over the past few months:
And behind the statistics are the thousands of heartwarming stories from business owners, children, seniors, and families who, thanks to you, have had food on their tables during this crisis.
Like Melissa, a valet driver who’s one of so many in Atlantic City who are out of work as the casinos remain closed.
“The FoodBank is giving us food, and it’s great. I’m so excited, and I’m emotional because I see all this,” she told us tearfully, gesturing to the volunteers loading emergency meal kits into trunks and back seats, her husband in the passenger seat beside her.
The service that CFBNJ provides is more essential than ever before, and so is your support. With you in our corner we will continue to fight hunger in New Jersey through the pandemic and beyond, until none of our neighbors must wonder where their next meal is coming from.
