By the Numbers: COVID-19’s Impact on Hunger in New Jersey

During our 2020 fiscal year (July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020), the Community FoodBank of New Jersey provided enough food to support more than 66 million nutritious meals. This is an incredible achievement, but there is still more work to be done. Due to COVID-19, New Jersey’s food insecurity rate is projected to rise by 56%, higher than the national average and the increases in our neighboring states.
