The Civil Air Patrol New Jersey Wing has been an integral part of our operations since COVID-19 took hold in March. They have been volunteering their time at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey in both our Hillside and Egg Harbor Township locations creating emergency meal kits for our neighbors in need. Each day, they pack about 2,000 boxes, enabling us to supply about 70,000 emergency meal kits to-date to our neighbors in need.
Last week, Civil Air Patrol hit an incredible volunteer milestone at the FoodBank. They have packed enough food to provide 1 Million Meals to our New Jersey neighbors! Thank you so much for the continued work that you do to help CFBNJ meet the increased need caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
