COVID-19 has dramatically increased hunger in communities across the country. New Jersey is estimated to have experienced a disproportionate rise in food insecure residents, an increase of 56%, higher than the national average, and more than 10 percentage points higher than neighboring states.
Recognizing that our network is absolutely vital to CFBNJ’s ability to execute our mission, we have made a multi-million-dollar, multi-year commitment to support our network partners in sustaining their operations and growing their capabilities to respond to this new normal.
CFBNJ invites proposals from network partners for emergency operating grants, using the resources provided here. The deadline to apply is Friday, February 26.
