Collect or purchase products needed for one of the CFBNJ Special Kits and host a packing party at a location to assemble the kits with peers, coworkers, family, and friends.
With college students particularly vulnerable to hunger and 1 in 2 families in the United States being unable to afford diapers for their children, our most needed kits include the College Meal Food Box and Diaper Drive Donation Box. Other needed kits include the Holiday Season Food Drive Kit, Period Equity Drive Kit, Birthday Celebration Kit, Snow Day Meal Bag, and the Healthy Lifestyle Meal Kit.

Bundle of Hope Baby Kit
Babies require up to 12 diapers per day, which adds up to $70-$80 per month per child — a cost many struggling families simply cannot afford. One in four parents and caregivers with diaper need reported missing work or school because they didn’t have enough diapers to drop off their child off at daycare. In addition, diapers are not covered by most federally funded public assistance programs such as SNAP (formerly food stamps) or WIC because they are not food items. Simply put, no parent should have to make the impossible choice between food and diapers for their child.
College Meal Kit
With tight budgets and busy schedules, college students are particularly vulnerable to hunger, which can hinder their abilities to excel in the classroom and put them at greater risk of dropping out. CFBNJ distributes food to a dozen college campus pantries throughout the state and works with government to help enact long-term solutions to end college hunger in New Jersey.
